This recipe brings together ground chicken wing tips for whole bone, kangaroo and chicken breast for growing muscle, nutrient-dense organ meats, whole sardines, and selected plant foods in evolutionary proportions, the foods a growing dog was shaped by.

Whole Australian sardines supply the long-chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. DHA is a structural component of brain and retinal tissue, and dogs convert plant omegas poorly, so marine sources are how they get it. The whole bone brings calcium and phosphorus together in the ratio they occur in naturally, rather than added back as a premix.
